Lydia is a figther for civil rights. She attended Burlington College and Community College of Vermont where she obtained degress in Public Administration and Human Services.
She’s the founder of AWARE and Brooklynstrong, along with blackgurlsmattervt.
Lydia is a community organizer of the poor, homeless and disabled. Orginally from Brooklyn, Lydia relocated to Vermont in 1994. She is a mother of four and grandmother of seven.
